The EASA Air OPS Training course is a comprehensive training course addressed to operators and organisations in understanding and application of operational requirements for European Operators based on the regulation (EC) No. 965/2012 with AMC & GM material and the basic regulation (EC) 216/2008.
Operations personnel from Flight OPS, Maintenance, Crew Training and Ground Ops., including Nominated Postholders, Compliance Monitoring Managers (Quality Managers) and Auditors, Safety Managers, Flight Safety Officers, Flight Operations Officers and Cabin Crew Management.
Flight Safety Department Managers and Inspectors with operational oversight responsibilities.
Objectives & Syllabus
The course is ideal for organisations that want their management personnel to understand the implication of EASA Air OPS for themselves and for the NAA overseeing it.
The following subjects are covered:
- EASA Air OPS requirements based on EC 965/2012 and the basic regulation EC 216/2008
- EASA Air OPS structure including the following annexes:
- Annex I – Definitions (including Abbreviations and Acronyms)
- Annex II – Part – ARO: Authority Requirements for Air Operations
- Annex III – Part – ORO: Organization Requirements for Air Operations
- Annex IV – Part – CAT: Commercial Air Transport Operations
- Annex V – Part – SPA: Specific Approvals

After successfully passing a written exam the participants will receive a certificate at the last training course day.
The EASA Air OPS Training course starts on the first day at 10 am and terminates on the last day at approximately 3 pm.
