Audit & IATA Training
Do I have to attend the AAT before participating in the Aviation Auditor Recurrent Training and Aviation Lead Auditor Training?
Yes, it is a mandatory prerequisite to attend the AAT or a similar course before. Additionally, audit experience is necessary.
How can I become an Aviation Lead Auditor?
After you have successfully passed the Aviation Auditor Training you have the possibility to attend our Aviation Recurrent & Lead Auditor Training (AART & ALAT). This course aims to improve and/or refresh your auditing techniques and to enhance your auditing process. You will be certified by AQS as a "Certified Aviation Lead Auditor" after passing the exam.
Is there any possibility to get a price deduction on the IAT?
No, this is not possible due to IATA regulations. The IAT is a standardised IATA training course and we are bound to this fixed price.
Do I get pre-course information for the IAT?
Yes. Approximately 3-4 weeks prior to the beginning of the training course you will receive an email which includes your “Welcome letter” and further course preparation material. Additionally, we recommend to make yourself familiar with the IOSA Standards Manual (ISM). You can download the manual from our library.
How will I get my IOSA Auditor certificate?
After you have successfully passed the IAT, you will be certified as an "IOSA Auditor". The certificate will be issued by IATA, which takes approximately 8-10 weeks after completion of the training course.
